Software FAQs
  1. Open you Sequence Settings.

  2. Select the Video Processing tab.

  3. Select “Always Render in RGB”.

I purchased a Photoshop Only license, but AdvantEdge says I’m in demo mode!

  1. You must specifically set you license to Photoshop Only.

  2. On a Macintosh, go to the top level of your hard drive. Look for an Ultimatte folder. In there should be a License Utility. Run it and set your license type to match your USB dongle.

  3. On a Windows computer, there should be an Ultimatte folder at the top level of your startup drive. In there should be an executable called Chooser. Run that and set your license type to match your USB dongle.

You'll need to remove:

  1. The plugin itself from the applications plugin folder (for each application you installed the plugin for.)

Note: for Final Cut Pro, the plugins are located here:

MacintoshHD/Library/Plug-Ins/FxPlug/AdvantEdge.fxplug and UltimatteRT.fxplug

  1. MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/Tcl.framework

  2. MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/Tk.framework

  3. MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/UltimattePro.framework

  4. MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/UltimatteTcl.framework

  5. MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/UltimatteTk.framework

  6. MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/WkMacLibX.framework

  7. MacintoshHD/Ultimatte 1.6.4/

  8. MacintoshHD/Applications/WIBUKEY/

I’m still in demo mode!

Try downloading and installing the latest drivers for the USB dongle here.

What newer products and situations are not supported?

My rendered output from Final Cut Pro looks weird!

I’ve run the installer on a Macintosh and I would like to uninstall everything.
